We have received feedback from our users that Google Play Protect is incorrectly flagging AdClear and blocking the initial installation with a message “This app can collect data that may be used to track you.”
All aggregated and anonymized information AdClear currently collects is currently used for debugging and improving our application.
The AdClear team is currently in the process of repealing the flag against the package “com.seven.adclear” and working with Google to understand why this flag was triggered in the first place. In the meantime, AdClear can be installed if you click the down chevron and tap “install anyways.”
