Introducing AdClear Settings

With our latest update, we’ve introduced Settings for our ad blocker. The initial two options address a lot of ease-of-use issues users were having. For starters, the VPN automaticalladclear-app4y enabling upon restarting or booting the device. The prompts to enable the VPN could be annoying to some users, but they’re a limitation of the Android platform. All of the android ad blockers that work via VPN are obstructed by this. We thought giving users the ability to toggle it was a great solution.

The implementation of Settings also allows us to make Android notifications toggleable. We’ve already made a few changes to notifications from user feedback, but we’ve now placed them in settings. Now the numerous updates that the ad blocker is disconnected can be vanquished! The feedback was so varied that we think this solves the issue best.

We’re excited about the usability that these settings offer. We want AdClear to work the best it can for each of our users. We are excited to continue adding options based on user suggestion.
