Just seven short months ago, we announced that our HotMail for Android app had broken the 1 million download mark, and we are thrilled to announce today that the app we developed for Microsoft has now surpassed 10 million downloads on Google Play.
Since its release this past October, the app has continued to outdo itself, from being the number one trending app of the day to the top communications app of the month, it continues to be a success throughout the app world.
The app has received more than 38,000 reviews. Ratings have recently gone up from 4.1 to 4.2 stars. Many users have had very positive experiences with the app, highlighting its syncing capabilities and overall performance running smoothly. One recent reviewer said “What a great app, does what it says and does it well! Good job developer!”
In addition to the user reviews of the app, one thing certainly helping the popularity of the app is the rapid growth of the Android community. This week, TechCrunch reported that Android has seen 400 million device activations and is adding 1 million per day.
If you’re a HotMail for Android app user, let us know your experiences in the comments below and stay tuned for our next update and latest news on the app!
